Balsamic Salmon

Salmon gets a flavorful boost from dark-flavored balsamic vinegar and Harissa olive oil, adding rich, tangy, and slightly spicy notes that elevate this simple, healthy dish. Perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon, cut into four 4-ounce fillets

  • 4 tbsp Paducah Olive Oil’s Maple Balsamic Vinegar or Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar

  • 4 tbsp Paducah Olive Oil’s Harissa Premium Olive Oil

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice, plus lemon slices for garnish

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine Harissa olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, and salt.

  2. Coat salmon fillets on both sides with the mixture.

  3. Place salmon in a broiling pan about 4 inches from the broiler. Broil for 4–6 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. (If fillets are thicker than 1 inch, turn once halfway through broiling.)

  4. Plate and garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately.
