Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Moist, spiced pumpkin bread studded with melty chocolate chips—perfect for fall mornings or dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • ½ cup melted butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease/flour a loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin, melted butter, and eggs. Stir in chocolate chips.

  4. Fold wet mixture into dry ingredients until just combined.

  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
