Perfectly Chocolate Icing

A rich, smooth frosting perfect for cakes, cupcakes, or brownies — ready in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine

  • 2/3 cup powdered cocoa

  • 3 cups powdered sugar

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl.

  2. Stir in cocoa until smooth.

  3. Alternate adding powdered sugar and milk, beating to desired spreading consistency.

  4. Stir in vanilla and spread over cooled baked goods.
