Elderberry Syrup
A natural, homemade elderberry syrup that’s simple to make and perfect for immune support. Packed with warming spices and raw honey, it’s a wholesome remedy you can keep on hand all season.

Ingredients
3 ½ cups cold water
1 cup dried elderberries
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced or chopped
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon cloves
1 cup raw honey
Instructions
Combine water, elderberries, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until liquid is reduced by about half. Remove from heat and let cool.
Mash the berries carefully, then strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl.
Once syrup is completely cooled, stir in raw honey until combined.
Pour syrup into a sealable jar and store in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
Enjoy as a daily tonic or at the first sign of seasonal sniffles!
