Classic Fajitas

Fire up the skillet for a quick and flavorful meal with this classic fajita recipe, made even better with our Frontier Co-op Organic Fajita Seasoning. A zesty blend of organic spices brings out the bold, smoky flavors in every bite—perfect for sizzling strips of chicken, steak, or veggies. Serve with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings for an easy, crowd-pleasing dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs skirt steak or chicken breast

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 bell pepper

  • 1 medium onion

  • 3-4 tbsp Olive Oil (We recommend Cilantro & Roasted Onion, Persian Lime, Garlic, or Chipotle)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 8 tsp Organic Paducah Olive Oil Fajita Seasoning (Salt-free)

  • Sprinkle Salt (We recommend Organic Paducah Olive Oil Sea Salt)

  • 6-8 tortillas

Optional garnish:

  • Sour cream

  • Guacamole

  • Salsa

  • Pico de gallo

Instructions

  1. Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables and minced garlic into the skillet and cook until just tender crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the skillet to a plate and add meat strips to the same skillet. Cook throughout (about 7-10 minutes), add vegetables back to the skillet, add lime juice and fajita seasoning and stir. Cook for an additional one minute on low heat.

  2. Serve with warm tortillas and desired optional garnishes.
